"My Birthday"

Today is Thursday,
Tomorrow is Friday.
But today is also
The day before my day.

My birthday, that day
Is full of good times.
And tears, birthday wishes
Until the clock chimes.

"Oh, shoot!" everyone says,
Everyone except me.
I was going to have a birthday
With my family!

I got lots of presents
From my family
I even got a puppy
Just for me!

I played with my puppy.
His name was Freddie.
He really loves everyone,
Especially me!
