Ledgeview is proceding with the development of Scray's Hill Park. Kudos to Ledgeview leadership as they continue to keep DADS programming as part of their priorities. The work has begun on two soccer fields following a $200,000 donation to the village from the youth soccer organization. Work will start on the baseball portion of the plans when DADS can provide the necessary start-up funding. DADS needs you to serve on the Development Committee for this project as well as others. If you have grant-writing experience, or would be willing to plan fund-raising activities, please contact Larry Lueck, DADS Chair, through the email link below. All parents will be required to do their part toward the effort, so there will be volunteer support for the events you envision. No funds, no fields, so be one of the first to volunteer for this new ballfield project. It will provide lighted fields for ages 5 - 13 and can be ready for play in 2011 if our fund-raising efforts are successful! Commercial sponsors welcome. RIVER BANDITS SCHEDULE WINDING DOWN Looking for great entertainment "close to home" for Summer 2008? Be a River Bandits fan! Please check the links at left for the 2008 De Pere River Bandits schedule. Bring the family to see some of the best college prep and semi-pro wood bat baseball in the area Sunday afternoons at Redbird Field. An atmosphere for the whole family as Redbird Field is alcohol and smoke free. For $20/Individual, $10/student or $30/Family/season, you can purchase a season pass that includes a popcorn and a drink and admission to all home River Bandit games. Regular admission is $3/adult, $2/Student & Senior. Admission is always free to DADS players if they wear their team shirt and cap to the game! Come watch the college baseball players who are graduates of DADS. Give our DADS youngsters a chance to see the ballplayer they can become by playing in DADS programs! COMPLETE N.E.W. De Pere Area Diamond Sports, known as DADS, is the organization organized in conjunction with our school baseball programs that works to support youth and amateur baseball in our area. DADS is a volunteer organization that guides programming and works to raise funds to make sure baseball recreation is available to all.
